These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Compaw mobile application ("Application" or "Service") operated by Compaw ("we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using Compaw, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Service.

1. About Compaw

Compaw is a pet health management application designed to help pet owners organize and track information related to their pets' health.

The Service may allow users to:

• Create pet profiles
• Store pet health information
• Track medical conditions
• Manage medications and treatments
• Record health-related notes
• Set reminders and organize pet care information

Compaw is intended to help pet owners organize information and improve communication with veterinary professionals.

2. Important Veterinary Disclaimer

Compaw is not a veterinary service and does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or emergency medical services.

The information stored or displayed through Compaw is intended for organization and tracking purposes only.

You should always consult a qualified veterinarian regarding:

• Diagnosis of medical conditions
• Treatment decisions
• Medication decisions
• Emergency situations
• Changes to your pet's healthcare plan

Do not rely solely on information stored in Compaw when making medical decisions about your pet.

If your pet is experiencing an emergency or serious health concern, contact a licensed veterinarian or emergency animal care provider immediately.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Compaw.

By using the Service, you represent that:

• You meet the minimum age requirement.
• You have the legal ability to agree to these Terms.
• The information you provide is accurate and truthful.

If you use Compaw on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

4. User Accounts

Some features of Compaw require an account.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate account information.
• Maintaining the security of your login credentials.
• Keeping your account information updated.
• All activity performed through your account.

You should notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

We are not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized access caused by your failure to protect your account information.

5. User Content

Compaw allows you to add information about your pets, including health-related information ("User Content").

You retain ownership of the information you provide.

By using Compaw, you grant us a limited right to store, process, and display your User Content only as necessary to provide and improve the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you enter is accurate and appropriate.

You should not upload:

• Illegal content
• Content that violates another person's rights
• Malicious or harmful information
• Information unrelated to the intended use of the Service

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of Compaw may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the app store or payment platform through which the subscription is purchased.

Apple App Store

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are billed by Apple and are subject to Apple's applicable payment and subscription terms.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each subscription period unless canceled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription through your Apple Account's subscription settings.

Deleting the Compaw app does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.

Refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store are handled in accordance with Apple's applicable refund policies and applicable law.

Google Play

Subscriptions purchased through Google Play are billed by Google and are subject to Google Play's applicable payment and subscription terms.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each subscription period unless canceled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel a Google Play subscription through your Google Play subscription settings.

Deleting the Compaw app does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription.

Refunds for purchases made through Google Play are handled in accordance with Google Play's applicable refund policies and applicable law.

Automatic Renewal

For auto-renewing subscriptions, your subscription will continue for successive billing periods unless you cancel it before the applicable renewal date. The applicable subscription price, billing period, and renewal terms are presented to you before you complete your purchase.

Subscription prices and billing periods may vary depending on your country, platform, subscription plan, and applicable taxes.

Subscription Access

Your subscription provides access to the features and benefits described in the applicable subscription offer. Subscription benefits may vary depending on the subscription plan and platform.

If a subscription payment fails, access to subscription benefits may be affected in accordance with the applicable app store's billing and subscription policies.

Subscriptions purchased through one platform may not necessarily be transferable to another platform unless Compaw explicitly supports cross-platform subscription access.

7. Acceptable Use

When using Compaw, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the Application.
• Reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the Application except where permitted by law.
• Use the Service in a way that could harm Compaw or other users.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access if users violate these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

Compaw, including its software, design, branding, logos, features, and content created by us, is owned by Compaw and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit any part of the Service without our written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

Compaw relies on third-party services, including:

• Supabase
• RevenueCat
• Google Play Billing
• Sentry

These services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for interruptions, failures, or changes caused by third-party services.

10. Availability of the Service

We aim to keep Compaw available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that:

• The Service will always be available.
• The Application will be free from errors.
• The Service will work on every device.
• Stored information will never be lost.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time when reasonably necessary.

11. Account Termination

You may stop using Compaw at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You violate these Terms.
• You misuse the Service.
• Your actions create security risks.
• Required by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will end.

Data handling after termination is described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Compaw and its owners, employees, and service providers are not responsible for:

• Veterinary decisions made using information stored in the Application.
• Health outcomes related to your pet.
• Loss of data caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

You use Compaw at your own discretion and risk.

13. No Warranty

Compaw is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis.

We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will meet all expectations.
• Information stored in the Application will always be accurate or complete.
• The Application will be uninterrupted or error-free.

14. Privacy

Your use of Compaw is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of Compaw after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted according to the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes relating to these Terms or the Service will be handled according to the applicable courts and laws of Israel.
